Restaurant Schiffergilde in Bremerhaven

I really liked the Schiffergilde restaurant in the Columbus Center. Friendly staff and delicious fish dishes, plus a freshly tapped beer. Good atmosphere.

Everything is right in this restaurant! Exceptionally fast and very courteous, friendly service. The ordered food came very quickly and was just great. I had a steak that was perfectly cooked to the point and also bigger than the menu promised. Everything was appetizingly arranged and extremely tasty. The boss asked all visitors several times about their well-being, and the restaurant was full ....... worthy of imitation! ... some could take an example. Top price-performance ratio !! and the hygiene concept is exemplary and the staff pays great attention to it.

Unfortunately, my voucher was not accepted even though we had announced this by phone and when we entered the restaurant. I also spoke to the managing director several times, but despite the valid voucher, he no longer wanted to accept it before and during the payment. I think that's not how you deal with new customers. The food was good but the mood when paying and the friendliness from both sides quickly in the cellar. I will definitely not go out to eat here anymore, but rather where I am still treated in a friendly manner with these topics.

Super delicious food! The fish platter is recommended and so is the Steuermanns Nordstern tapped The service is friendly and courteous. Portions are big. Price / performance ratio is great! 😊

The food was just great and the atmosphere was cozy! The service was very friendly, as was the boss of the house. We were completely looked after and had an extremely pleasant stay! :-)

Great food and very polite and charming hosts.

The food was pretty good. I had a baked potato with (unfortunately) a little bit of sour cream, plus chicken and salad. But the service that evening was incredibly friendly and you felt very comfortable straight away.

Enjoy your meal. Could have a little more choice in the side dishes. The fish is recommended.

In Corona times a restaurant to recommend. How hygiene is taken care of here cannot be seen everywhere in Bremerhaven. So keep it up. Food and drinks are also recommended.

We were visiting B. and wanted traditional, fresh fish. Optically more like a canteen and firmly in foreign hands - that's the impression :-) Then we got a seat quickly, were well served by the boss in a very friendly way and the fish and beer were delicious ... Keep it up guys!

When we looked at the restaurant we didn't know at first whether we should eat there .. More like a canteen .. We dared and it was delicious .. Very friendly service. Would eat there again.

It's not my first visit. As a non-resident (from Hesse), I have often visited the boatmen's guild, including with my parents. We usually like to have a drink there. Today I ate at the boatmen's guild. There was plaice with boiled potatoes and salad (not in the photo). The food was delicious, the price for the portion was absolutely okay and the team was very nice. Nice location. I can definitely recommend it.

The restaurant Schiffergilde located in the shopping center Columbus is very nicely decorated, with a view of the old harbor you also have a beautiful view. The staff there is very nice, courteous and attentive. The price-performance ratio is average and suitable for every dish. For 4 people with almost 2 drinks each € 75-80 is perfectly fine and not overpriced. The food we ordered spaghetti with spicy minced meat sauce, the boat plate and the baked potato with chicken strips were very well presented and mega delicious! I have never eaten such a delicious Bollo sauce in any restaurant !! Really great! And the portions of the dishes are also not small, so you can get full. In case we come back we will definitely go back to this restaurant and eat there! Kind regards from the Mission Representative;): D

Super friendly and courteous staff. The food and drink was served quickly. Our fish plate was delicious and plentiful. All in all, I imagine a visit to the restaurant as well. :)

My wife Genevieve and I ate a number of meals here and all were excellent. The staff are very friendly, and the owner a seemingly ever-present charmer who speaks fluent English with almost no accent. My pick was the lobscouse, or sailor's scouse on the English copy of the menu. I had never ever seen a combination like this and it was truly delicious. For us now this is our first choice in Bremerhaven.

Coming from Stuttgart, a place fairly known for having mediocre food with the attitude of a Michelin rated restaurant, I arrived in Bremerhaven with modest expectations. After consulting a known “advisor for trips” and walking about town, my girlfriend and I settled on a locale near the center of it all. The atmosphere of Schiffergilde is apropos with the maritime theme Bremerhaven promotes. However, this is where one must deviate from expectations, it’s one thing to buy into a theme, but when one sets the standards it makes all others look like impostors. After eating an absolutely amazing meal, (presentation was magnificent, prices were on point, and the customer service impeccable) my girlfriend and I ordered a wonderful Apfelstrudel mit Sahne und Eiscreme, fantastisch! I was in heaven. Excuse me, we were in heaven, she’s breathing over my shoulder, so yes I don’t want to mess this up. Point is, we walked away with smiles on our faces, happiness in our hearts, and amazing food in our stomach. Kudos to the amazingly informed staff and the genuine attention to detail. Thanks for an amazing experience! We loved it! Can’t wait to come back.

The food is to much fat, and be careful with a lot of fake reviews here. If you check all reviews here and on TripAdvisor it’s more than 50%, they are fake.

Fish was to fat. I didn't like it. I had to do my best to eat it. Personal was friendly but the food was terrible.

I had the "Millers Wife" fish dish and it was absolutely delicious! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. I will definitely be dining here again when in the area.

Today we were in Bremerhaven in the Schiffergilde to eat. We ate fish and it was delicious. Our plates were completely empty. We were there years ago food but were always very satisfied. It may be a different owner but the food is still good and tasty. We can only recommend the restaurant. The portions were very good I got a plaice fillet from my wife because it was too much. I was really happy. I had cod and redfish.

Very good food, friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. After 30 years I finally had a typical North German dish again and was not disappointed. Before I go back to Bavaria I will definitely go there again.

Wunderfull Rumpsteak Surf and Turf

What an interesting space to have a meal in. It looks like a ship inside it out. The staff was very helpful to a non-German speaker. Their schnitzel was delicious and their salad was super fresh with nice dressing. What a great experience!
